The Approach

Our process is built on a framework that is part science and part art — call it 75/25 if you want to give it a number — the science representing rigorous data and analytics, the art representing a decade of experience and the subjective judgment that numbers alone can't capture. Every game I consider goes through the same evaluation. Most don't clear the threshold. That's by design.

I screen for situations where our power ratings diverge meaningfully from the posted line — where the market, in my assessment, has mispriced the outcome. When I find that divergence and the situational context supports it, I make a selection. When I don't, I pass. There is no quota, no obligation to produce picks on any given day.

Every selection is sized deliberately — never chasing, never overexposed. The goal is long-term capital preservation with consistent positive returns, the same standard I've applied managing money for private clients for over a decade.

Why It's Different

The handicapping industry has no shortage of people selling picks. What it has very little of is accountability.
